I guess I'm going to try them out and take my chances. Thanks so much for your reply!

Please let us know what you think of them, and post a review. I'm also thinking of getting a couple for the rear of my original T-8 v1, that already has a FAT kit. I just use it as a 'loaner', but don't want to go through the added expense, if the wheels/tires are cheaply made, or could be a possible hazard.

If you cannot understand this, I 'doubt' that there is little chance of getting an un-biased review from you.

But I digress, anyone here has both a carving trikke and a trikke tech trikke?

It's cheap and arrives quickly by FedEx.
It's fun once you get the hang of it.
But...
Toasted a bearing after 5 outings (long ones, 12-15 miles each, to be sure).
In fairness, they sent me two new bearings under warranty.
Brakes are useless; cabled stretched, stopping my progress, so I removed them.
Now, I want to try air on the back wheels, keeping poly up front.
I'll keep y'all posted.

They are much harder to propel than polyurethane; but, for a true test, I'll try them in the country tomorrow.
The tires were slightly out of round; we'll see how they hold up on a long distance ride.

100 PSI in the air tires that come with a Carving Trike may cause them to blow!
Perhaps even the 80 psi was too much for them, which is why Carving Trike lowered their recommended PSI to 60 as micheleartist said... With Trikke Tech, 80 up to 100 PSI is no problem, but I am not sure that can be said for any cheap knock offs, including Carving Trike ...
So, like John says, for a real comparison, put near 100 PSI in them and report back on how it goes.

Three apt phrases come to mind:
(1) Caveat Emptor.
(2) The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the cheap price is forgotten.
(3) Pay me now, or pay me later.
Sadder but wiser,

If they give you a Full Refund, you could put it toward a Real TRIKKE! If you end up with no use for the Carving Trike rear 'Air Wheels', I may give them a try on my old Trikke T8 ver1 (if the price is right).
