I remember having heard somewhere that bushings on Skki are harder than bushings on T12. I can't find the source of that information now. I may be imagining it that I hear it... For sure, on the other hand, South Bay Trikke lists the same bushing for both T12 and Skki, the harder one they list being for Pon-e.
Please set me straight.
a. T12 and Skki uses the same bushing, period.
b. Skki may use the same bushing as T12 or the harder one. It is recommended to use the same bushing.
c. Skki may use the same bushing as T12 or the harder one. It is recommended to use the harder bushing.
d. Skki uses a harder bushing than T12, period.
Main reason I'm asking is that I have spare T12 bushing available, Skki bushing on backorder, one inoperative Skki in my closet and snow outside of the window. I want to go riding, but I don't want my ride stopped by a technical issue.
Thanks.
Are cambering bushings interchangeable between T12 and Skki?

Good judgement comes from experience. The experience usually comes from bad judgement.

T12 and Skki are different bushings. T12 bushings use to be black in color, but now it's orange on the 2011 T12s. The Skki and Tri-Bred Pon-E use the florescent green bushing. You can use your spare T12 bushings. They will do the job until you get the harder bushings. The softness and hardness of the bushings only affects how your trikkes or skki go into the lean. Hope this helps you out.
